Karion ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our AI-first executive assistant application.

When you use Karion, we may collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Your name, email address, and profile picture provided via Google OAuth.
• Google Calendar Data: With your explicit consent, we access your Google Calendar events to provide scheduling assistance, task integration, and availability management.
• User Content: Tasks, notes, and chat interactions you create within the application.

3. Use of Google User Data

Specifically, we use Google Calendar data to:

• Display your calendar events alongside your tasks.
• Suggest optimal times for your tasks based on your availability.
• Create or modify calendar events when you explicitly request Karion to do so.

AI/ML Model Training: We do not use user data received from Google Workspace APIs to create, train, or improve foundational machine learning or artificial intelligence models. Your data is used solely to provide personalized scheduling assistance within your own account.

We do not use Google User Data for serving advertisements or for any other purpose not explicitly mentioned in this policy.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information or Google User Data to third parties. We only share data with service providers (such as AI model providers) to the extent necessary to provide the Karion service, and only if those providers agree to maintain the confidentiality and security of the data.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the settings panel in the application.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
